Danny Funderburk has the most recognizable voice in gospel music today, having sung with such quartets as The Singing Americans, The Cathedrals, Perfect Heart, and now with Mercy's Way.   Danny has brought to gospel music songs like "Whiter Than Snow," "Somebody Touched Me," "I Can See the Hand," and his most notable song, "I Just Started Living."

Even though Danny has sung for 25 years in gospel music and received the favorite tenor award and male vocalist award three years in a row, he has never lost site of the importance of gospel music and the ability of it to change peoples' lives.  You will truly be blessed and challenged through his singing and testimony.  His compassion for all, and willingness to be used by God will always be evident in Danny's heart, simply because of God's love, mercy and grace that he has given to us all.

Philippians 4:13

Along with Danny, Stan Shuman is co-founder of Mercy's Way.  Stan has been singing Gospel music for a number of years, having sung with many notable quartets and TV personalities including Jerry Goff, Wendy Johnson and the Messengers, The Roger Horne Trio, Naomi and The Segos and many others.  As you can see, Stan is no stranger to Gospel music.  Stan has appeared on many television shows including P.T.L. Club, The Dove Broadcasting Network Nite Line program, The Huff-Cook show and the syndicated radio show The Gospel Greats With Paul Heil.  Stan has even stood and sang on such stages such as The Grand Ole Opry and The National Quartet Convention.

God has also blessed Stan with a talent to write gospel music.  He's written over 100 songs for groups such as, Gold City, The Kingsmen, The Anchormen, The Carolina Boys, Mercy's Way and the list goes on.  Stan's voice has many times been compared to the legendary Rusty Goodman.  Through all of this, Stan still shows great humility and thankfulness because he knows where his talent came from and it will be evident as you listen to him share the good news.  Stan believes 100% in what and whom he sings about.  He gives Jesus all the praise and honor.

Greg Day sings the lead part for Mercy's Way.  Greg has been singing Gospel music since he was 5 years old.  Greg started singing with his family, The Day Family, traveling mostly in his home state of Georgia.  Although Greg was raised in a Christian home, he didn't except Christ until the age of 23.  After that, Greg felt a call on his life to write Gospel music.

His first song was a song co-written with his brother Chuck titled "The Midnight Cry."  The Lord took that song and blessed it just like the loaves and fishes and has taken that song around the world.  "Midnight Cry" was also featured on the movie Left Behind with over 3.5 million in sales in the U.S. alone.  Other groups such as Gold city, The Ruppes, Lord Song, The Brooklyn Tab. Choir, Crossway, The Whisnants, Ivan Parker and many more have recorded Greg's songs.  Greg gives God all the praise for the songs that he has written.  The call on Greg's life will be evident as you see him on the stage singing and testifying.
